Health care ads target Adler, Lance, LoBiondo

The Democratic National Committee, as it said it would, announced plans Monday to launch radio ads criticizing 32 House Republicans from districts that backed President Barack Obama last year who voted against the health-care reform bill two weekends ago.

Among them are Rep. Leonard Lance of Hunterdon County (hear the ad here here) and Rep. Frank LoBiondo of Atlantic County (that ad is here here; both have the same text, just substituting out the names).

adler PCCC adExcept for Democratic Rep. John Adler's vote against the bill, the tally among New Jersey's House delegation went along party lines -- Democrats voting yes, Republicans voting no. And Adler finds himself the target of a web advertising campaign from fellow Democrats, as the Progressive Change Campaign Committee is running a campaign accusing Adler and nine other so-called Blue Dogs of "betrayal."
